Work at Home Directory October 10, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a useful book for someone ho is researching the possiblity of working at home.
Not what I expected May 9, 2008 This just wasn't what I expected, it's like something you would get with your newspaper. I'm not very impressed considering the price plus shipping.
Work-At-Home Directory April 18, 2008 Good general overview, but has limited detailed source information. Some contacts suggested were not up-to-date.

Take a look at the dates of the last reviews done on this title. They are from the early 2000's. There are none that are recent except the one I am writing now. I found no mention of an author Barbara Becker. This is an absolute and total waste of money ($4.95). The ads in this pamphlet, (32 Pp. includes front and back covers) are the same as the ones you would find in the back of grocery store magazines. I am not saying they aren't legit., but almost all require a sase, a small fee or a number of stamps to get their information or samples. I did not get a "safe" feeling about these either. None were remotely near New York, and with all the scams going on in the world today, I would hesitate to believe all these are money makers. All I will tell you is "buyer beware"
Work -At-Home Directory full of scams August 16, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I ordered this book hoping for legitimate work ideas. I mailed in for information from 15 companies listed in the directory. Every one of them sent me an unprofessional brochure filled with typos, misspellings, and printing errors and each requested money ($30-$60) in order to get more information. Many were extremely vague about what it was I would receive for this money. A few said the money would get me information on how to find companies that need people to work at home! Isn't that what this directory was supposed to do? This book is a waste of money and utilizing it is a waste of time, stamps and SASE envelopes.
